Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a detail-oriented team member to manage store inventory across both front end and pharmacy. You will receive, count, price, and process returns, while maintaining accurate planograms and on-hand balances.

The role includes supporting price changes, store-wide asset protection, and ensuring excellent customer service. A flexible schedule and prior Walgreens or retail experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens work experience or one year of retail experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (as stated).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and SOPs for store, front end and pharmacy.
• Review and coordinate use of reports affecting front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing.
• Perform front end and pharmacy asset protection tasks, including filing claims for overages/shortages/damages.
• Open/close store in the absence of management when required, including cash handling and cashier duties.
• Engage customers, greet them, and assist with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Coach team on inventory management processes, including creating, reviewing, and receiving orders.
• Scan deliveries in-store, manage One-Box receiving, and coordinate vendor communications for discrepancies.
• Verify pharmacy shipments postings and complete pharmacy/ABC orders and recalls as needed.
• Complete On-Shelf Availability end-to-end processes, including disposals and vendor returns.
