Job summary

Walgreens Co. in Deerfield Beach, FL seeks a store associate to manage inventory for front end and pharmacy, process receipts, and handle pricing and stock.

You will assist with warehouse and vendor orders, perform POS duties, and support on-shelf availability while delivering a high standard of customer service. You will engage customers, resolve issues, and help lead daily operations, including store opening/closing and cash handling, under supervision of the pharmacist-in-charge.

Qualifications

• Six months of Walgreens experience or one year of retail work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi task effectively.
• Experience identifying operational issues and resolving challenges.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor store inventory best practices for front end and pharmacy.
• Review and coordinate use of reports affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Perform front end and pharmacy asset protection tasks and vendor returns.
• Open/close store as needed and handle cash and POS duties.
• Engage customers, resolve issues, and model service best practices.
• Coach team in warehouse/vendor inventory processes and order handling.
• Scan deliveries, receive items, and manage discrepancies with vendors.
• Verify pharmacy shipments and postings; monitor recalls and recalls-related tasks.
• Maintain planograms, pricing changes, signage accuracy, and stock levels.
