Job summary

H-E Parts Dom-Ex in Hibbing, MN is seeking a mechanically inclined team member to support the Hill Shop operations, including receiving parts, preparing orders, moving inventory, and performing basic maintenance. You will operate forklifts, navigate the inventory system, and help keep the yard safe and organized.

Qualified candidates typically have a high school diploma or GED, a clean driving record, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and related vocational or mechanical experience.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
• Clean driving record and valid license.
• Two years vocational school in mechanical/maintenance preferred.
• Three years mechanical work experience preferred.
• Experience with heavy equipment repair preferred.
• Warehouse/inventory control experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist with all hill shop operations and PPE use.
• Receive parts and prepare them for delivery.
• Move components using forklifts, boom trucks, and cranes.
• Track inventory movements with a computer system.
• Perform basic maintenance on shop equipment and vehicles.
• Disassemble, inspect, and repair heavy equipment when needed.
• Keep yard and work areas clean and organized.
