Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Inventory & Materials Specialist for a hands-on, on-site role in Tustin, CA. This temp-to-perm, hourly position offers benefits through Jobot.

You will maintain inventory records in Microsoft Dynamics 365, perform cycle counts, prep materials for work orders, and support lean manufacturing initiatives in a manufacturing environment. Forklift experience and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of inventory control or stockroom experience in manufacturing.
• Hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) experience for inventory transactions and work orders.
• Experience with cycle counting, reconciliation, and material staging.
• Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies; forklift experience is a plus.
• Kanban/lean exposure preferred; strong attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and process transactions in D365.
• Perform cycle counts, verification, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution.
• Pull, stage, and kit materials/components for manufacturing work orders.
• Process work orders, pick lists, material issues, returns, and adjustments.
• Monitor shortages/overages and resolve issues affecting production.
• Replenish materials using Kanban and point-of-use systems.
• Return excess materials and ensure accurate recordings.
• Keep the stockroom organized and efficient.
• Support physical inventory counts and accuracy initiatives.
• Partner with manufacturing to meet production requirements.
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement in material flow.
• Safely operate forklifts and handling equipment as needed.
