Job summary

RadNet, Inc. is seeking a Material Control professional to coordinate the distribution and storage of materials for production, ensuring accurate inventory records and timely issuance to the floor.

You will maintain Kanban systems, perform cycle and annual inventories, input data into ERP (SAP), and collaborate with purchasing and engineering to resolve material shortages while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety measures pertinent to each job assignment (R)
• Working knowledge of SAP ERP (P)
• Knowledge of UPS/Fed-Ex shipping regulations (P)
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office (R)

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the distribution of materials for production and issues to the production floor
• Maintains physical inventory of all assigned parts and production materials
• Maintains inventory storage to ensure logical, accurate and efficient storing and pulling of inventory
• Conducts physical inventory (cycle, annual, etc.) as scheduled and required
• Inputs all appropriate detail into ERP system to maintain an accurate data base and reports
• Work order releases
• Daily inventory transactions
• Checks Bills of Material and coordinates with purchasing and engineering to resolve problems
• Practices lean strategies to reduce inventory, scrap and waste
• Returns overstocked materials and disposes of obsolete materials
• Assists in set up and maintenance Kanban systems
• Runs required reports to assure accuracy, resolve problems and report to management
