Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient with basic computer systems and data entry.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, problem solving and time management abilities.
• Ability to measure with various tools and read numbers accurately.
• Ability to work independently and follow directions.
• Operate with integrity and maintain good relations with coworkers, customers, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Pick and restock materials efficiently.
• Ensure stock tags and identifications are correct.
• Perform daily cycle counts.
• Prepare and pack items for shipments per customer specs and dates.
• Load and unload materials from delivery trucks.
• Measure incoming materials with micrometer and record results.
• Enter data into computer system and generate material tags.
• Pull and stage materials per bill-of-lading.
• Conduct dock audits to verify correct shipments.
• Obtain proofs of identity and signatures on bill of lading.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials safely.
• Strive to meet customer expectations.
• Follow safety rules, regulations and quality standards.
