Job summary

Hood Container Corporation is seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our Palmyra, PA operations. This full-time role focuses on accurate inventory control, material flow support for production, and close collaboration with warehouse and production teams to keep materials arriving on schedule.

The position requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting; overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use inventory/warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Receiving & material handling to verify deliveries against bills of lading, packing lists, or POs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate discrepancies or shortages.
• Support production by delivering materials to lines and returning unused materials to proper locations.
• Follow safety policies and maintain clean, organized warehouse environment.
