Job summary

Smith+Nap seeks a Material Handling Operator 2 to unload, log, and sort daily shipments, ensuring inventory accuracy and meeting production needs. You will operate with minimal direction, using SAP and Excel, and maintain safety standards while supporting continuous improvement in materials handling.

The role requires 1–2 years in a warehouse, ability to read small print, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Lift up to 50 lbs and adherence to company policies are expected.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of warehouse experience.
• SAP knowledge required.
• MS Excel knowledge required.
• Ability to read small print at different lighting levels.
• Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and time management skills.
• Able to work well with other team members.
• Ability to learn new techniques quickly, perform multiple tasks, keep accurate records and align with company policies.
• Read/write in English.
• Basic math skills.
• Lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counting programs and SAP verification.
• Receive, verify, and assign materials per procedures.
• Safeguard and ensure integrity of components in storage areas.
• Prepare and deliver materials for distribution to production or other departments.
• Coordinate, implement, and ensure supply of inputs to production lines.
• Ensure correct identification, quantity, organization and order of materials.
• Control inputs in accordance with company regulations.
• Maintain traceability of materials across processes.
• Align with occupational health and safety programs.
• Collaborate in audits, counting, organization, and reporting for materials handling.
