MBI Direct Mail + Digital, Inc. in DeLand, FL is seeking an Inventory/Materials Handler to manage daily receiving, tracking, storage, ordering, and distribution of materials used in our production operations.

You will maintain inventory records, process transactions, monitor material levels, and ensure production departments have supplies to operate efficiently. This role suits a self-motivated, organized individual who works well independently and pays attention to details.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or material-handling experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet-based apps.
• Ability to enter data accurately and maintain inventory records.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow through on assigned tasks.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.
• Willingness to become forklift certified.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify deliveries against PO, invoices, and packing slips for accuracy.
• Count, weigh, and inspect incoming materials to verify quantities and condition.
• Enter and process inventory transactions for materials received, issued, transferred, and distributed.
• Create purchase orders and order routine materials and supplies needed for daily production operations.
• Monitor inventory levels to help ensure adequate materials are available to support production.
• Organize, label, store, and maintain inventory in designated warehouse areas for accurate tracking and efficient access.
• Distribute materials and supplies to production departments as needed.
• Perform routine cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
• Research and resolve inventory count discrepancies.
• Prepare for and participate in monthly physical inventory counts.
• Coordinate inventory transfers between company buildings or departments.
• Communicate with outside vendors regarding orders, deliveries, and material needs.
• Prepare and ship packages using UPS WorldShip, FedEx, and other applicable shipping systems.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse material-handling responsibilities.
• Safely operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as authorized.
• Maintain accurate inventory documentation and records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and inventory area.
• Follow company safety procedures and established inventory-control processes.
• Collaborate with production and other departments to support daily operational needs.
