Job summary

Vivid Impact in Jeffersontown, KY is seeking a Material Handler / Inventory Specialist to support the On Demand Printing Department by organizing materials, replenishing supplies, and moving in-progress jobs.

You will lift up to 50 lbs, operate pallet jacks, perform cycle counts on an iPad, and coordinate with press operators to keep production on schedule. This is a full-time on-site role with benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar role required.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
• Experience operating material-handling equipment (pallet jack, rolling cart, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and cycle counting.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and other departments.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members across departments.
• Comfortable using technology such as tablets for inventory tracking.

Responsibilities

• Replenish and organize materials throughout the facility using pallet jacks and rolling carts.
• Receive newly delivered materials and place them in their designated locations.
• Transfer in-progress jobs to the correct departments.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy using a tablet (iPad).
• Lift and handle boxes of paper up to 50 lbs.
• Communicate effectively with press operators and receiving associates to ensure smooth workflow.
• Perform any other tasks required by the On Demand Team Leader.
