Houchens Food Group is seeking an Inventory Manager for an in-store, full-time role reporting to the Store Manager. The Inventory Manager will oversee all aspects of store inventory, including receiving shipments, transfers, credits, order accuracy, and price updates.

The position emphasizes data accuracy, shrink reduction, and staff training to optimize stock levels and minimize outages. Evening/weekend availability may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with retail inventory principles and processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process all product into store inventory; manage receiving from vendors.
• Oversee inter-store transfers and reconciliations.
• Process credits and invoiced items, and verify order accuracy.
• Monitor and validate inventory data in the store system.
• Manage shrink control and implement loss prevention measures.
• Maintain pricing changes and shelf label accuracy.
• Train staff on inventory management best practices.
• Run and analyze inventory reports and cycle counts.
• Support ACE Monthly Ad merchandise purchases.
