Mercor is recruiting experienced Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Clerks to partner with leading AI labs on projects that train and refine AI systems. As an independent contractor, you’ll use your operational knowledge to help create realistic logistics scenarios, inventory workflows, and shipping-related prompts that support AI model development.

What We're Looking For:

• 4+ years of full-time experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory control within a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Experience verifying and recording incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing items for shipment, and maintaining inventory records
• Familiarity with inventory software, shipping systems, and tracking tools (e.g., WMS, ERP, UPS/FedEx software)
• Strong attention to detail and experience arranging transportation, resolving shipping discrepancies, and ensuring accurate documentation
• Understanding of packaging standards, labeling, and compliance procedures

What You’ll Do:

• Create realistic logistics and inventory scenarios such as processing incoming shipments, managing damaged goods, or coordinating outgoing freight
• Design prompts that simulate tasks like updating inventory systems, verifying packing slips, scheduling pickups, or preparing shipping labels
• Help AI researchers understand warehouse terminology, inventory documentation, and shipping procedures
• Review and refine AI-generated content for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with real-world warehouse and shipping workflows
