Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to monitor purchases, shipments and inventory levels, and to drive Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives. This role is based in Ritchie County, WV, and involves optimizing stock control, forecasting demand, and collaborating with warehousing teams to meet distribution needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, ERP systems, and CPIM or related qualifications, with 5–7 years of inventory

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as inventory manager or similar position.
  • Excellent data analysis and forecasting skills.
  • Demonstrated Lean/Continuous Improvement skillset.
  • Working knowledge of inventory management software (ERP).
  • Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports.
  • Analytical mind with strong math skills.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • BS/BA in business administration, logistics or relevant field.
  • 5-7 years experience in inventory management.
  • CPIM or similar qualification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers.

  • Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff and other teams to meet business goals.
  • Report stock levels and issues to upper management.
  • Devising approaches to optimize/present inventory and control procedures.
  • Inspecting levels of business supplies and raw materials to identify shortages.
  • Ensuring product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers.

Job Description

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager with background in Lean/Continuous Improvement. The ideal candidate will be familiar with duties such as monitoring purchases / shipments, verifying, reconciling and reporting on the company’s inventory, and finding new ways to meet and exceed our working capital goals. A successful inventory manager will ensure that all business operations have adequate material to achieve their objectives yet validate that overstocking is also not taking place. Qualifications
