Job summary

Columbia Helicopters is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead and optimize daily operations across the department, scaling processes to meet evolving business requirements. The role emphasizes team leadership, hiring, and development while ensuring efficient inventory control and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee import/export policies, ITAR/EAR compliance coordination, and international warehousing, collaborating to keep workflows aligned with our core values and strategic goals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in distribution of aviation-related materials or hardware in a quality-controlled environment.
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations.
  • Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the department, planning for growth to meet evolving business requirements and address new challenges.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the team, including interviewing, hiring, assigning work, and providing performance feedback.
  • Oversee inventory control processes, including staging, elimination of obsolete or off-spec material, and ensuring accurate counts in compliance with company accounting practices.
  • Administer import and export customs policies, tools, and guidelines in compliance with corporate and government regulations.
  • Coordinate ITAR/EAR compliance activities with the Company’s Export Compliance Officer.
  • Manage logistics operations to ensure timely fulfillment of inbound and outbound inventory requirements.
  • Oversee management of company warehouses, both domestic and international.
  • Conduct all activities in alignment with the Company’s Core Values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Inventory, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in distribution of aviation-related materials or hardware in a quality-controlled environment; airline, aerospace, or aviation industry experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License required; CDL may be required depending on responsibilities.
  • Proficient in English with strong written, verbal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
