Job summary

Fisica, Inc. in San Leandro, CA is seeking an Inventory Management Support B to stock and kit materials, perform cycle counts, and support production with accurate inventory control. This is a 100% onsite role under a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or equivalent, with 4+ years of related experience or 2 years post-secondary with 0–2 years of related experience, and strong math and computer skills for inventory systems.

Qualifications

• Stockroom, kitting, cycle counting and receiving experience using a computerized inventory control system.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• Must be computer literate and able to operate standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming material; examines and counts material received.
• Stocks materials and parts.
• Prepares & audits kits and issues materials & parts to production personnel; resolves kitting problems.
• Fills parts shortages and ensures paperwork for incoming/outgoing materials.
• Performs cycle counting, inventory activities and general housekeeping.

Primary Function

Responsible for stocking and kitting material and cycle counting inventory.

Major Responsibilities

• Receives incoming material; examines and counts material received.
• Stocks materials and parts.
• Prepares & audits kits and issues materials & parts to production personnel. Resolves kitting problems.
• Fills parts shortages.
• Ensures completion of required paperwork for incoming and outgoing materials and parts.
• Performs other duties as required, including cycle counting, inventory activities and general housekeeping of stockroom areas.
• Performs moderate physical efforts Must be computer literate.

Education/Experience/Training:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post‑Secondary/associate’s degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
• Must be able to read and write, add and subtract whole numbers, and to carry out instructions.
• Requires stockroom, kitting, cycle counting and receiving experience, using a computerized inventory control system.

Additional Requirements

• Flexible to work varied shifts, overtime and weekends.
• Able to stoop, bend, kneel, and squat for extended periods of time.
• Able to push, pull and reach for extended periods of time.
• Must have good repetitive manual dexterity with both hands.
• Must have sufficient vision to see relative positions of small parts and able to discern symmetry and proper alignment.
• Able to move items up to 35 pounds for distances of up to 50 feet.
• Will be exposed to some or all of the following: fumes, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts and moderate to loud noise levels.
• Ability to type for extended periods of time.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• The ability to obtain a future Security Clearance is required for the role. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $36,920-65,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. Fisica Inc. also offers a variety of benefits, including relocation stipend, 401(k), PTO, EAP, and company‑paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, and schedule type.
