Job summary

Fisica, Inc. in San Leandro, CA is seeking an Inventory Management Support B to stock and kit materials and perform cycle counting. This 100% onsite role supports production with accurate material handling and rigorous paperwork.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent plus relevant stockroom experience; familiarity with inventory systems is preferred and the position requires lifting up to 35 pounds and weekend flexibility.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate’s degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
• Must be able to read and write, add and subtract whole numbers, and to carry out instructions.
• Requires stockroom, kitting, cycle counting and receiving experience, using a computerized inventory control system.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming material; examines and counts material received.
• Stocks materials and parts.
• Prepares & audits kits and issues materials & parts to production personnel. Resolves kitting problems.
• Fills parts shortages.
• Ensures completion of required paperwork for incoming and outgoing materials and parts.
• Performs other duties as required, including cycle counting, inventory activities and general housekeeping of stockroom areas.
• Performs moderate physical efforts Must be computer literate.

Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off.

Primary Function:

Education/Experience/Training::

Additional Requirements:

• Flexible to work varied shifts, overtime and weekends.
• Able to stoop, bend, kneel, and squat for extended periods of time.
• Able to push, pull and reach for extended periods of time.
• Must have good repetitive manual dexterity with both hands.
• Must have sufficient vision to see relative positions of small parts and able to discern symmetry and proper alignment.
• Able to move items up to 35 pounds for distances of up to 50 feet.
• Will be exposed to some or all of the following: fumes, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts and moderate to loud noise levels.
• Ability to type for extended periods of time.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• The ability to obtain a future Security Clearance is required for the role. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $36,920-65,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. Fisica Inc. also offers a variety of benefits, including relocation stipend, 401(k), PTO, EAP, and company‑paid holidays.
