Curtis Lumber Co, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Management Support at our Ballston Spa location. The role focuses on stock movement, shipping/receiving, and inventory counts, with emphasis on accuracy and timely replenishment.

Applicants should be able to lift 50-80 lbs, operate a propane forklift, and work outdoors year-round. Excellent customer service and safety compliance are a plus. Benefits include weekly pay and profit sharing after one year.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management and shipping/receiving.
• Ability to lift 50-80 lbs regularly and operate a propane forklift safely.
• Willingness to work outdoors year-round and wear PPE.
• Strong customer service orientation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move product and materials including shipping and receiving of merchandise.
• Focus on counts and general inventory management functions.
• Receive product and check for shortages/overages or errors in shipments.
• Pull and prepare products for delivery or shipment with accuracy.
• Maintain good merchandising standards.
• Assist in procurement and replenishment of product.
• Operate equipment safely and follow safety procedures.
• Work outside year-round.
• Provide customer service to shoppers.
• Paid weekly on Fridays.
• Discretionary profit share after one year of employment.
• Six paid holidays and PTO immediately.
• Must be able to lift 50-80lbs regularly and operate a propane forklift safely.
• Must wear PPE.
• Building material product knowledge is a plus.

Inventory Management Support

Our Ballston Spa location is looking to find an experienced hard working individual to join our Inventory Management Support team. Inventory Management Support is responsible for the movement of product and material, including shipping and receiving of incoming and outgoing merchandise and materials. This position will have a focus on P&M counts and general inventory management functions.

$20 - $22 per hour with annual performance based raises!

• Full time 40+ hours per week
• Loading and unloading of material
• Receive product and check for order shortages/overages or any errors in the shipment
• Pull and/or prepare products for delivery or shipment, ensuring accuracy
• Practice good merchandising
• Involved in procurement and replenishment of product
• Safe and proper use of equipment and materials
• Work outside year-round
• Customer service
• Paid weekly on Fridays
• Discretionary profit share after one year of employment
• Six paid holidays and PTO Immediately
• Must be able to lift 50-80lbs regularly and able to operate a propane forklift safely
• Must wear PPE
