Role This position is for an Inventory Management and Pricing Analyst for RCI. This person will be responsible for managing a portfolio of vacation ownership resorts ensuring the supply of inventory meets the demand. This person is responsible for recognizing opportunities and risks and working with appropriate business partners to ensure the most desirable outcome for the business. This team is ultimately responsible for improving the quality of all available inventory with attention to overall volume, destinations, seasons. As an analyst this person is responsible for territory pricing management and day to day inventory operations to ensure inventory is on or off sale. This role is hybrid in office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and remote Thursday and Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate results through the use of computer/statistical modeling and analysis and provide insight and recommendations to appropriate department personnel.

  • Present effective reports and analyses investigating historical and current trends, inventory utilization, and projections used in support of marketing efforts.

  • Able to work independently and also collaborate with team to meet expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Mathematics/Applied Statistics, Economics or Finance.

  • At least 2 years relevant experience; hospitality, pricing or yield management or other closely related field. Allowance will be made if education background can compensate for work experience.

  • Ability to use multiple data sources to drive decision making.

  • Excellent understanding of the theory of supply and demand and pricing of perishable goods.

  • Intermediate Excel skills: pivoting internal and external data, v-lookup and data manipulations.

  • Microsoft Word and Power Point. Knowledge of SQL, Snowflake and PowerBI a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • The ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
