Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Supply Chain Technician in Illinois to manage receiving, stocking, packing, and distributing medical supplies. You will operate forklifts and floor jacks as needed, maintain accurate records in MMIS, and support patient care areas with timely equipment transport.

The role emphasizes inventory accuracy, par level management, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Storeroom experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record per Mercy HR Fleet Policy.

Responsibilities

• Picks orders for departments requesting supplies.
• Packages and delivers supplies to requesting departments.
• Re-stocks shelves, uses FIFO/FEFO to rotate stock.
• Unloads stock daily from the dock; verifies against delivery documents.
• Maintains par levels and participates in inventory counts.
• Enters patient charges for supplies and equipment in MMIS.
• Provides patient and material transport as needed.
• Ensures a clean, hazard-free work environment.
