Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Norfolk, VA is seeking an Inventory Management Support to handle the receipt, storage and distribution of materials in a government-contract environment. You will perform physical and administrative tasks to support stockroom operations and maintain accurate records.

Requirements include a HS diploma (or 2 years post-secondary) with 4 years of related experience, forklift operation, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. Competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate’s degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
• Must be able to secure a Security clearance.
• Ability to drive a forklift and use material handling equipment such as pallet jack or other powered industrial vehicles.
• Demonstrate intermediate Microsoft and computer knowledge.
• Ability to lift to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming materials and verifies quantities per Government contract requirements.
• Performs inventory management tasks and basic stockroom duties with accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinates inventory concerns within and outside the department, communicating clearly to reach agreement.
• Ships items in accordance with Government contract requirements.
