Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Inventory Management Support C in Carlsbad, CA. You will handle shipping/receiving, determine efficient shipping routes, and log activity in SAP while ensuring compliance with contract requirements.

The role requires strong attention to detail, solid communication, and the ability to lift 30+ pounds. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunity to contribute to continuous improvements in logistics processes.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
• Experience reading dimension/packaging requirements and knowledge of government/military shipping standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications and shipping requirements.
• Log shipments and receipts into SAP and maintain accurate records.
• Package materials and accessories with appropriate protective materials.
• Mark and label items with proper identification and shipping labels.
• Coordinate with transportation companies and utilize carrier-related computer programs.
• Follow established shipping and receiving practices, procedures, and routing requirements.
• Adhere to shipping schedules and delivery timelines.
• Proficient computer skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and move packages weighing 30+ pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.
