Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Inventory Management Support C in Carlsbad, CA. You will handle shipping/receiving, determine efficient shipping routes, and log activity in SAP while ensuring compliance with contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
• Experience reading dimension/packaging requirements and knowledge of government/military shipping standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications and shipping requirements.
• Log shipments and receipts into SAP and maintain accurate records.
• Package materials and accessories with appropriate protective materials.
• Mark and label items with proper identification and shipping labels.

Job Description:

The Inventory Management Support C will be responsible for the shipping and receiving of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment, ensuring compliance regulations as well as contract specifications. Within parameters, determines routing and arrangements for shipments, considering such factors as nature of items being shipped, method of handling, size, urgency, and cost. Assesses most economical and efficient contract carrier to transport shipments. Prepares and maintains records of product shipped and received. Lift heavy items and may operate equipment such as a pallet jack.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California area is $44,000.00 - $ 82,000.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
