Job summary

Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC) seeks an Inventory & Logistics Coordinator to manage daily inventory, receiving, and distribution across ACC locations and partners. This hands-on, field-based role requires frequent travel between headquarters, storage facilities, and five boroughs in NYC.

The role emphasizes strong organizational skills, reliable vehicle operation, and attention to safety while handling supplies, donations, and equipment in warehouse, shelter, and outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in inventory management, logistics, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Hands-on inventory, warehouse operations and multi-site logistics experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to work independently.
• Ability to drive across NYC boroughs as required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, count, organize, and record incoming inventory and equipment.
• Organize storage areas; ensure proper labeling and accessibility.
• Coordinate large-volume donations and recurring orders across ACC locations.
• Perform scheduled physical inventory counts and follow control procedures.
• Track movement of supplies between storage areas, departments, and care centers.
• Communicate discrepancies to the Associate Director.
