Job summary

Newrest Atlanta is hiring a Supply Operator with forklift and electric pallet jack experience. You will unload products from incoming freight, move items to production floor and storage areas, and ensure equipment is charged and maintained.

The role requires adaptability to freezing, refrigerated, and ambient environments. You will also monitor safety, keep the dock area clean, and complete inventory orders, BOLs, and CCP processes while reporting damages promptly and maintaining organized work

Qualifications

• Must have forklift and electric pallet jack experience.
• Experience unloading trucks and moving product to designated locations on the floor.
• Able to work in sub-freezing, refrigerated, and ambient environments.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming freight trucks safely and accurately.
• Move product to appropriate locations on the production floor, freezers, refrigerators, dry storage, and holding areas.
• Ensure equipment is charged daily and maintained.
• Keep the work area clean and organized, including dock and truck cargo areas.
• Complete Inventory Orders, BOLs, and CCP processes for product movement.
• Report damaged product promptly to supervisor and isolate for inspection.

Job description

Newrest Atlanta, a leading provider of in-flight catering services, is seeking a working Supply (must have forklift AND electric pallet jack experience) Operator who will be responsible for unloading the products from incoming freight trucks or vehicles. They will also move items to the appropriate location on the production floor, freezers, refrigerators, dry, and storage areas. This individual will ensure equipment is charged daily and properly maintained and keep the work area clean and organized.

Required Responsibilities

• Able to work a flexible work style.
• Able to work in sub-freezing, refrigerated, and ambient temperatures.
• Maintain a safe working environment through each shift.
• Accurately and safely unload trucks.
• Complete all Inventory Orders, BOL’s, and CCP processes for all product movement.
• Report damaged product to Supervisor, Assistant Manager or Manager immediately.
• Isolate damaged materials for inspection purposes. Identify and report discrepancies in received product.
• Carefully arrange, date, (where applicable) and flat stack product in designated locations on Production Floor, Holding Area, and PnP Floor.
• Move product to appropriate freezer, refrigerated or dry storage areas in a safe manner.
• Always maintain a clean workspace area. This includes the Dock area, Distribution Truck cab and Truck cargo area.
• Remove recyclable materials from dock area and located in the proper areas of the Unit.
• Collect, stack, arrange and remove all empty pallets throughout the facility.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained, inspected, and cleaned according to operating procedures.
• Ensure daily Forklift, EPJ, and Truck Inspections are completed.
• Regular and timely attendance is expected for this position.
• Perform other duties as assigned
