Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates for Marion, OH to join a safety-conscious team. You will support and sometimes supervise routine warehouse tasks, ensuring productivity and accuracy under supervision.

The role requires forklift operation experience and basic computer skills. The shift runs Monday–Friday, 6:45 am to 2:45 pm with overtime as needed; compensation is $23.34 per hour plus a $1500 retention bonus after 120 days.

Qualifications

• 4 years of warehouse experience required.
• 2 years of inventory or materials management experience preferred.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior forklift certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stage and sort products for loading.
• Loads and unloads trailers.
• Executes & provides process & project visibility to Operations Supervisor.
• Leads & complies with Safety and Well Being efforts on assigned shift.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels with routine process observations and audits.
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Quality control.
• Complete daily logs.
• Communicate with associates from other shifts.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
• Uses computer to enter records.
• Maintains inventory records.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable).
• Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment (where applicable).
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
