Job summary

NRI Distribution is seeking an Inventory Lead to guide the inventory team, ensure tasks are performed to meet client needs, and support continuous training with an analytical approach.

The role involves leading daily inventory activities, coordinating with Supervisors, and maintaining safety and efficiency in a dynamic warehouse environment near Easton, PA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee training and cross-training of inventory employees.
• Lead and delegate inventory tasks within SLA.
• Collaborate with Inventory Supervisor on labor planning, audits, quality assurance.
• Delegate cycle counts and lead audits; complete inventory reports.
• Support Inventory Planner in optimizing warehouse space and utilization.
• Follow NRI safety rules and SOPs; maintain safe work areas.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Job description

As an Inventory Lead, you will play an important part in leading the inventory team by ensuring all inventory is handled and processed according to client and customer needs.You'll be working with products from awesome clients that are heavily involved in the active lifestyle.

What does success look like in this role?

The ideal candidate has effective communication and interaction across all levels of the facility including clients to ensure inventory issues and tasks are being handled ina timelyand appropriate manner. This person must have the ability to support the training and development of a team with an analytical and tactical approach.

The following schedule is available for this role:

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

$21.00/hour

• Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS)

• Ability to multitask and prioritize duties, follow through assignments with a minimum of direction, and be extremely detail oriented
• Experience in leading inventory personnel to ensure all assigned activities are performed effectively and efficiently
• Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities

The Must Haves:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel
• Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., walking and standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, ok with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc.
• Ability to gain narrow aisle forklift certification.
