Qualifications

• Education must be from a college/university accredited by the U.S. Dept. of Education and transcripts must be provided.
• For education in lieu of experience, a master’s or equivalent graduate degree; or 2 years of graduate education; or LL.B./J.D. if related.
• Specialized experience includes inventories planning, investigations into discrepancies, and providing corrective recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Performs in-depth research and causative analysis when discrepancies are identified in inventories.
• Determines causes of record imbalances through data collection and evaluation.
• Initiates corrective actions to synchronize depot records with physical inventory balance.
• Generates FLIPL reports per agency policy.
• Develops recommendations to correct or prevent errors.
• Gathers data to analyze trends of recurring discrepancies.
• Conducts studies to identify causes of inaccuracies and validates data.
• Identifies and initiates new procedures to reduce inventory errors and streamline processes.
• Arranges special inventories and plans inventories.
• May operate forklifts/stock selectors and lead lower graded technicians.
