Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts in San Antonio, TX is seeking an ICQA Associate to ensure inventory accuracy and product quality in the distribution center. You will conduct cycle counts, audits, and inspections using handheld scanning technology, verify stock levels, and resolve discrepancies while upholding NAPA’s high standards.

You will operate warehouse equipment safely per OSHA standards, collaborate with warehouse teams, and help minimize errors to support exceptional customer service through attention

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and quality control procedures.
• Detail-oriented and organized with accurate record-keeping.
• Analytical skills to identify discrepancies and trends.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiar with inventory management software.
• Excellent communication skills for team collaboration.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to product safety and quality is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Control: Monitor daily inventory levels to ensure accuracy and prevent stockouts or overstock.
• Audit and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
• Maintain detailed inventory records and update in the inventory management system.
• Coordinate inventory movement to optimize stock flow and forecast needs.
• Quality Assurance: Perform inspections on incoming, in-process, and finished products for specifications.
• Document and report defects or quality issues and support corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production and supply chain to resolve quality concerns and ensure safety compliance.
• Support internal and external quality audits as required.
