Job summary

Talentify in Bristol, IN is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to maintain inventory integrity and serve as a liaison among operations, supply chain, and finance. This role reports to the Warehouse Operations Manager with a matrix relationship to the Inventory Control Manager.

It requires strong problem solving, leadership, and experience with MS Office, scan guns, and warehouse management systems. You will support hourly and salaried staff while driving material flow improvements.

Qualifications

• Requires strong inventory management and cycle counting skills.
• Must analyze variances and perform root-cause investigations.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with scan guns and WMS is required.

Responsibilities

• Cycle Count product daily according to a cycle count schedule.
• Record and adjust any opportunity count outside of the cycle count schedule.
• Analyze counts for variances and perform necessary bin to bin movements.
• Research variances for errors in shipping, receiving, locating, etc.
• Block missing product and adjust counts to assure smooth product flow.
• Research shipments or production orders with missing parts.
• Perform bin/location checks to minimize no location orders.
• Handle count requests from Operations, Sales, Inventory Management and Purchasing.
• Assist with re-labels and plant-to-plant transfers.
• Document and file all daily work performed.
• Adhere to safety standards and report unsafe conditions.
• Research picking errors, determine root cause, and report to Materials.
• Maintain a spreadsheet of all picking errors and results.
• Activate/delete bin/pallet/bulk locations; extend part numbers for locations.
• Material extension for locations; return-to-vendor adjustments.
• Process re-labels for purchasing; process plant transfers.
• Raise capacity for storage bin locations; manage scrap adjustments.
• Assist with supplier packaging, labeling, and count compliance.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by manager.
