Job summary

DWYER INSTRUMENTS, LLC in South Bend, IN is seeking an Inventory Group Leader to direct stock Attendants in receiving, storing, and inventorying Finished Goods. You will drive cycle counts, ensure location accuracy, and supervise shipping after the shift, while maintaining safety and on-time performance.

You will collaborate with quality, production, and planning teams to optimize inventory flow. This role demands leadership, attention to detail, and hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct, instruct, and assign Stock Attendants in receiving and inventorying Finished Goods.
• Investigate and resolve Cycle Count variances.
• Enter Cycle Count into the system.
• Oversee receiving and stocking and ensure location accuracy.
• Document IP discrepancies and correspond by email to manufacturing sites and resolve outstanding issues.
• Oversee Daily Sales Orders Due on In Transit IP’s from manufacturing facilities and ensure work is done.
• Work the IP’s Shipped/Not Received report.
• Process Scrap/Obsolete product requests.
• Handle internal emails and phone calls related to stock checks and product receipt.
• Oversee Pick, Pack and Shipping after the Shipping Group Leader leaves for the day.
• Ensure CDC is closed down at end of day.
• Take responsibility for Put away errors and communicate to associates.
• Oversee Return to Stock cart cleanup weekly.
• Oversee the Receiving Clerk and duties.

Inventory Group Leader

Grade Level 5

The Inventory Group Leader is responsible for directing, instructing and assigning Stock Attendants in receiving, storing, and inventorying of Finished Goods.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolves Cycle Count variances
• Enter Cycle Count into the system
• Oversee the receiving and stocking of Finished Goods Manufactured and Resale and that the counts and identification at the locations are correct
• Documents IP Discrepancies and corresponds by email those discrepancies to the manufacturing sites and resolves outstanding issues
• Oversee that the Daily Sales Orders Due on In Transit IP’s from manufacturing facilities is worked
• Work the IP’s Shipped/Not Received report
• Process Scrap/Obsolete product requests
• Handle internal emails and phone calls related to stock check and product receipt
• Responsible for overseeing Pick, Pack and Shipping after the Shipping Group Leader has left for the day
• Responsible for seeing that the CDC is appropriately closed down a the end of day
• Take responsibility for Put away errors and communicates those errors to the associates
• Oversee the Return to Stock cart is cleaned off weekly
• Oversee the Receiving Clerk and his duties

Requirements

Required Skills / Experience / Equipment Operation

• High School Diploma or GED
• Warehouse experience preferred
