Job summary

Stroud Discount Window And Door Supply seeks a Material Handler to maintain inventory, prepare and fulfill orders, and keep the warehouse organized. Responding to orders quickly and accurately is essential for customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent attention to detail and experience in a similar role; forklift certification and ability to operate industrial equipment are required, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Materials Handler or in a similar position.
• Valid forklift certification.
• Familiarity with voice picking systems or RF devices is preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
• Highly organized and able to meet the physical demands of the job.
• Availability to work overtime when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials.
• Inspect deliveries to ensure all materials meet quality standards.
• Use forklifts and other equipment to optimize the organization and storage of stock.
• Review pick tickets and pull material to accurately fulfill orders.
• Package orders and put on trucks for delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels, order and restock when necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of orders, materials, and inventory.
