Responsibilities

As an Inventory Flow Specialist at Joe V's, you will ensure that all Produce, Market, Deli, Dairy, and GM products are well maintained and stocked each morning. You will perform duties with a sense of ownership and teamwork, contributing to a well-stocked, safe, and customer-friendly store environment. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Stocking: Loading, unloading, and moving heavy products; stocking and rotating items; building and maintaining store displays; checking shipments for freshness and quality; reporting out-of-date or damaged products; maintaining signage.
  2. Sanitation: Organizing and cleaning prep areas, shelves, and fixtures; ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met; minimizing shrink through careful handling.
  3. Customer Service: Assisting customers with product questions; ensuring the store is ready for shopping; performing cross-functional duties as needed.

Qualifications: Completion of required training; knowledge of product rotation, sanitation, and shrink awareness; strong communication and customer service skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to operate material handling equipment; teamwork; dependability; attention to detail.

Physical Requirements: Ability to reach, grasp, stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, climb stairs/ladders, push/pull, and lift up to 55 lbs regularly and manage weights exceeding 85 lbs with assistance or proper techniques. Exposure to cold, wet, and noisy conditions is possible.
