The Wasserstrom Company is one of the top Food Service Equipment and Supply Distributors in the nation. Established in 1902, we are a family-owned company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. Our Purchasing Department currently has an opportunity available for an Inventory Expeditor. The Inventory Expeditor position is responsible for expediting purchase orders for procurement of materials.

Job Duties

• Expediting of purchase orders from various suppliers.
• Resolving receiving discrepancies.
• Providing timely information and follow-up to customer service issues related to delivery and availability.
• Developing and monitoring supplier performance measurements.
• Creating and processing vendor returns.
• Interacting with internal teams and outside suppliers to ensure smooth procurement processes.

Requirements

• Preferred 1-2 years of inventory expediting experience.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
