Job summary

ID Logistics US in Frackville, PA is seeking a Cycle Counter to support the site Operations Manager in maintaining accurate inventory and records. You will verify orders, account for damaged products, and reconcile cycle counts, while following GMP and safety rules.

Daily tasks include performing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, handling returned shipments, and assisting with physical inventories. The role emphasizes accuracy, Excel proficiency, and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or one-year related experience in inventory control.
• Knowledge of inventory management procedures and warehousing terminology.
• Experience with Excel and spreadsheets.
• Interpersonal and communication skills important.
• Accuracy and attention to detail required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Performing cycle counts daily as assigned.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies found through cycle counts and determine root cause of the problem.
• Pull slow moving or obsolete inventory as requested by the customer to dispose, salvage, or donate. This may include physically lifting or moving products or materials.
• Process returned shipments by unloading the trailer and determining what is first quality or damaged inventory.
• Ensure that all proper written documentation is signed off and filed.
• Participate in and coach LTO’s during physical inventories or samplings as requested by the customer to ensure the integrity of the inventory process.
• Conduct any search to locate products within the system. Adjust records when there are discrepancies. Take steps to correct and prevent discrepancies.
• Identify and research unique inventory occurrences to correct them prior to having to lock a bay or make an inventory adjustment.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards, in accordance with Food Safety Guidelines.
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
