Job summary

nVent is seeking an inventory/warehouse professional to perform cycle counts, investigate variances, and drive accuracy across shifts in Dayton, KY. The role emphasizes lean practices, 5S, and safety compliance within a dynamic, high-volume environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year in warehousing, with proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and JD Edwards. Forklift experience preferred; shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in warehouse or distribution setting.
• Proficiency with Windows Word, Excel, Outlook, JD Edwards and the Internet.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and investigate inventory variances.
• Post cycle counts and determine root causes for discrepancies.
• Coordinate with shifts to maintain inventory accuracy, and support audits.
