Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in Hawaii / Honolulu is seeking a Finance-oriented Clerk focused on inventory cycle counts and recordkeeping. You will perform regular counts, quality checks, and support product recall processes, with additional duties as Will-call Clerk on Saturdays.

The role requires lifting up to 100 pounds, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Experience with FIFO and inventory variance analysis is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 70–100 pounds and handle heavy warehouse tasks.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Ensure integrity of the physical count of inventory via cycle counting and related duties.
• Cycle counts at least four times per year across all slots.
• Perform quality checks on date sensitive, slow-moving, and obsolete items.
• Research causes of weight variances and handling issues from warehouse moves.
• Proactively check FIFO items for proper rotation.
• Verify reserves are correctly recorded and counts of reserve pallets.
• Coordinate will-call orders when scheduled.
