Job summary

J.B. Poindexter & Co. in Reading, PA, seeks a Cycle Counter to verify counts of products and materials across the facility. You will assist with inventory accuracy, documentation, and stocking activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role involves scanning receipts, investigating discrepancies, and helping the Materials Supervisor with the PFEP. Overtime and Saturday shifts may be required to support annual physical inventory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Willing to work overtime and varied shift assignments as required including Saturdays when needed.
• Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Possess good communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Verify counts of quantities, descriptions of products and materials received, shipped, or moved.
• Scan receipts, issues to lines, returns, and barcode locations.
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies
• Follow up on all Min/Max violations reported
• Adjust inventory records after verification
• Assist Materials Supervisor and Manager with maintaining PFEP
• Lead / Train teams for annual physical inventory
