Job summary

OPW, a Dover company in Conover, NC, is seeking a Cycle Counter to count and track inventory in the warehouse. You will perform physical counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain records in the inventory system, coordinating with production and inventory teams.

The role requires attention to detail, independent work, and the ability to work overtime as needed. The position is based at our Conover facility and Monday–Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to squat, sit, stand, walk and reach daily.
• Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of cycle counter systems and processes.
• Highly organized with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfort with basic PC and software usage.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cycle count materials which will be monitored by the Inventory Control Analyst and/or Sr Director of Supply Chain.
• Research inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and bin location reports.
• Assist in determining root causes on inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to eliminate repetitive errors.
• Assist in updating systems with accurate information.
• Follow all safety rules and guidelines.
