Job summary

PeopleReady is currently hiring an Inventory Counting Clerk in Seward, AK for an upcoming inventory count on October 5, 2026. This temporary on-site role offers a pay rate of $17–$20 per hour and the option to choose from shift timings, including 1st shift (Day).

As a counting clerk you will maintain accurate inventory levels, perform data entry and file documents, and provide friendly service to staff and visitors while keeping an organized office environment.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Clerical experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft products.
• Some bookkeeping experience preferred.
• Flexible and willing to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Count and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Assist with daily administrative tasks such as answering phone calls and responding to emails.
• Data entry and record keeping.
• File forms and documents.
• Provide excellent customer service to staff and visitors.
• Maintain a neat and organized office environment.
