Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Iron Mountain, MI seeks an Inventory Coordinator to maintain accurate inventory records, support material flow, and ensure timely transactions. Qualifications

  • High school diploma with 2+ years’ experience.
  • Two years’ experience with inventory, manufacturing and/or accounting.
  • Experience in SAP.
  • Effective and clear communication skills, verbal and written; strong listening skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and proven problem-solving skills; ability to prioritize work and collaborate with other departments.
  • Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Syteline and Workbench.
  • Knowledge of lean principles; Lean thinker who looks for process improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cycle counts maintaining an accurate inventory throughout the year.
  • Investigate cycle count inventory variances.
  • Report both low-stock and surplus inventory on a routine basis.
  • Complete material transactions as needed.
  • Check and adjust material transaction processes in Production to ensure standard work is followed.
  • Collaborate with all warehouse employees establishing shared metrics to drive improvement.
  • Support annual physical inventory with accounting department.
  • Supports Inventory Control Supervisor and Materials Manager as needed.

Inventory Coordinator- Iron Mountain, MI

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting material flow throughout the facility, and ensuring inventory transactions are completed correctly and consistently. This role works closely with Production, Warehouse, Accounting, and Materials teams to monitor inventory levels, investigate discrepancies, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The Inventory Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, driving process compliance, and ensuring materials are available to support operational needs. #LI-TB1
