Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Knightdale, NC is seeking a Production Coordinator who links production, materials and warehouse operations to meet schedules. Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to materials management, inventory control, warehouse operations, or production planning.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Review daily and weekly production schedules to ensure material readiness for manufacturing.
  • Coordinate the timely availability of raw materials, components, and supplies needed to support production.
  • Investigate and resolve material shortages, discrepancies, and inventory issues that could impact production schedules.
  • Partner closely with warehouse, purchasing, planning, and production teams to expedite materials and maintain workflow.
  • Monitor inventory transactions and maintain accurate system records within SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Track and communicate production constraints, material shortages, and schedule risks to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Follow up on missing materials and work with internal teams to locate, transfer, or replenish inventory.
  • Ensure production orders are accurately processed and updated in the ERP system.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance inventory accuracy, material flow, and production efficiency.
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer commitments, production deadlines, and operational excellence.
