Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Clerk for our Jacksonville facility. The role focuses on daily cycle counts, stock integrity, and rapid resolution of discrepancies to support accurate inventory levels and on-time order fulfillment.

The candidate will operate in a fast-paced distribution environment, require lifting up to 50 pounds, and may work overtime with little notice. Experience with Oracle/WMS and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Comfort working at heights 20–30 feet regularly.
• RF scanner and/or voice-picking experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for a full shift.

• Conduct investigations for missing stock.

Job description

Shift: Monday - Friday; 6:00am - 2:30pm (or until work is complete) *OT may be required based on business need

What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.

• Maintaining chase area, including cycle count
• Conducting investigations for missing stock
• Identifying and logging damaged products
• Removing and logging short dated items
• Putaway of product Tasking
• Perform root cause analysis with various cross operational teams

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience preferred
• Forklift experience is preferred
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly
• Radio frequency (RF) scanner and/or voice to pick experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice
• Aptitude to work in a fast paced distribution environment while meeting hourly established distribution quotas and performance standards
• Flexibility/adaptability coupled with good multi-tasking skills
• Experience with standard MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) and various systems including Oracle and WMS

Anticipated hourly range: $16.30/hr. - $25.74/hr. Bonus eligible: No
