Join our dynamic team as an Inventory Specialist III, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate inventory management and driving inventory continuous improvement initiatives. What will you do?

  • Develop, implement, and monitor all key functions related to inventory transactions to assure that they are accurate and timely.
  • Lead and coordinate the cycle count program in a perpetual inventory environment.
  • Analyze cycle count results to identify patterns, trigger recounts, and advance process deviations.
  • Reconcile weekly WIP locations and maintain audit-ready records.
  • Investigate and document inventory discrepancies using all available systems and data to identify root causes and corrective actions.
  • Work cross-functionally to implement process improvements that improve location and item-level accuracy while supporting efficiency goals.
  • Ensure compliance with established inventory control procedures at both central and branch warehouse locations.
  • Monitor inter-warehouse and store transfers to ensure accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
  • Resolve inventory-related issues including discrepancies in receiving, accounting, and item movement.
  • Prepare and deliver inventory performance reports to management and the site leader, highlighting key issues and recommending corrective action.
  • Support inventory-related improvement initiatives to drive accuracy, efficiency, and sustainability.

How will you get here:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in inventory control functions.
  • Solid understanding of inventory control principles and standard methodologies.
  • APICS certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with data/reporting tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and balance multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a dedication to accuracy.
  • Must possess excellent math skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs as required.
