Job summary

LifeNet Health is seeking an Inventory Control Technician in Virginia Beach to verify incoming materials, enter data into the inventory system, and manage release, quarantine, and disposition per quality requirements.

You will maintain documentation, perform counts, and help ensure controlled conditions and stock rotation while supporting regulatory compliance. This on-site role requires 4 years warehousing experience, 1 year in receiving QC, forklift operation, and a valid driver's license.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

This role verifies and inspects incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips, enters accurate data into the inventory system, creates sales orders, and ensures items meet procedural standards before distribution while managing release, quarantine, and disposition of materials per quality and regulatory requirements. It maintains thorough documentation, including Receiving Inspection Reports and verification testing records, and conducts or coordinates quality inspections and third‑party testing for critical components. The position keeps inventory organized through stock rotation, storage plans, and equipment monitoring, ensuring controlled conditions are maintained and that no obsolete or nonconforming products are used or distributed. It also performs accurate inventory counts, maintains proper usage levels, and promptly reports shortages.

Pay Transparency Statement

The salary range displayed represents the national base salary range for this position and is provided in good faith to support pay transparency. For positions located in designated higher‑cost labor markets, a geographic pay adjustment may apply above the posted range for eligible positions according to LifeNet Health's current policy. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as work location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. Total compensation may also include bonuses, benefits, and other rewards that are not reflected in the posted salary range.
