Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing - Deka Batteries is seeking an Inventory Control Technician for the S-1 Operations team on the 2nd shift. You will perform inventory counts, verify accuracy against system records, and collaborate with multiple departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

The role involves data entry, reporting, and cross-training in related areas to support operations. A strong eye for detail and teamwork will help sustain inventory accuracy and efficiency on site.

Qualifications

• Basic reading and math skills required.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Ability to use standard office software and DCCS system.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inventory counts across grids, plates, groups, batteries, and components.
• Record counts and maintain reports; verify counts against system records.
• Investigate discrepancies; collaborate with QA, Engineering and Production to resolve issues.
• Move products to enable accurate counts and support inventory accuracy improvements.
