A multinational supplier in the appliance industry is seeking an Inventory Control Associate in Henderson, Tennessee. The successful candidate will manage inventory levels, maintain records of procurements, and collaborate with vendors. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting. This role involves a mix of office and manufacturing environments and requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain consistent stock of inventory by ordering new stock.
• Establish and maintain backup source for high-demand items.
• Assess inventory reports to identify items for automatic delivery.
• Provide inventory reports to purchasing manager.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships.
• Maintain accurate daily records of goods received and shipped.
• Manage and maintain inventory system.
• Conduct frequent inventory audits.
• Assist with annual physical inventory audits.
• Operate forklift truck when necessary.

The Inventory Control Associate will maintain the organizations inventory, ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all procurements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintains consistent stock of inventory, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limit as inventory dwindles.
• Establishes and maintains backup source for high-demand items.
• Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery.
• Provides inventory reports to purchasing and inventory control manager.
• Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors.
• Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
• Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates upgrades to related database and/or software under the direction of the purchasing or inventory control manager.
• Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
• Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits.
• Operates forklift truck when necessary.
• Performs other related duties as requested.

Position Supervised or Directed:

Reports to Material Manager.

Qualifications, Experience requirements:

• High School diploma or GED

• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with working knowledge of cycle counting/inventory.
