Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Warehouse Operations Leader to supervise returns, inventory control, and reporting. You will direct the returns crew, ensure products are stocked, and collaborate with the Inventory Control Supervisor.

This role requires strong organization, communication, and data-entry skills, with experience in RF scanners and Microsoft Office. You will help improve efficiency in a fast-paced distribution environment, while upholding safety and quality

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of warehouse experience.
• Minimum one year of leadership experience preferred.
• Food service industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of FDA and USDA guidelines.
• Microsoft Office experience required (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Data entry (10-key by touch) skills required.
• Knowledge of warehouse RF system and RF scanner.
• Ability to learn and use relevant internal applications.
• Excellent communication and phone etiquette.
• Self-starter who can multi-task and stay organized.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be customer-focused.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Position Summary and Responsibilities:

• Assigns, directs, and monitors the work of the returns crew in their process of unloading trucks, putting products in stock and other related work.
• Supervise inventory control process to ensure product is available and adequate for product resale.
• Produce and analyze product reports and perform other administrative duties to optimize operational efficiency.
• Assist Inventory Control Supervisor with duties as needed.
• Ensure Inventory Control Associates perform assigned duties.
• Provide feedback to Inventory Control Supervisor as needed.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Minimum one year of warehouse experience required
• Minimum one year of leadership experience preferred
• Food service industry experience preferred
• Knowledge of FDA and USDA guidelines
• Microsoft Office experience a must, including Word, Excel and Outlook

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
• Able to read product lists and packages
• Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to handle product weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to repetitively lift
• Ability to learn to operate heavy warehouse equipment, such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Must have normal use of shoulders, arms, wrist, hands, feet and legs
• Must be able to work in different warehouse temperature zones.
• Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery horns)
