Bachman’s is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to lead the inventory team and ensure accurate store operations in a full-time role. You’ll hire, train, and schedule staff; oversee inbound freight; resolve discrepancies; and partner with buyers.

You will support store operations and merchandising, contributing to seasonal and year-end inventory efforts. Requirements include 2+ years in retail supervisory or management, strong communication, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail supervisory or management capacity.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good technical knowledge including POS, Windows, Email and Excel.
• Demonstrated strength in employee relations and customer service.
• High energy level with the ability to provide strong leadership, train, delegate and motivate staff.
• Able to lift product up to 50 pounds frequently, pull and push heavy pallets regularly.
• Interest in working inside and outside.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, schedule and review inventory team.
• Complete daily receiving of inbound freight, reconcile inventory discrepancies and schedule stock team.
• Supervise daily activities of the inventory team and provide daily direction.
• Assist in managing store operations in absence of store manager/assistant manager and provide work direction to stock team.
• Complete cycle counts and reconcile inventory errors using a systematic approach.
• Work with Buyers on inventory issues and communicate with support departments.
