Job summary

Tellworks Communications is seeking an Inventory Control Area Supervisor at our Sparks, NV warehouse. The role focuses on leading daily inventory control activities, supporting cycle counts, resolving variances, and maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance with inventory policies.

You will work closely with Operations and IC leadership to identify risks, drive corrective actions, and report outcomes.

Qualifications

3–5 years of inventory control, warehouse operations, or related experience.
Prior leadership experience required; formal supervisory experience preferred.
Inventory control experience in a distribution center, high-volume warehouse, or 3PL environment preferred.
Prior WMS experience required.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to identify issues, trends, risks, and corrective actions.
Ability to lead associates, set expectations, follow up on performance, and reinforce accountability.

Responsibilities

Supervise and direct associates performing inventory control functions, including cycle counts and variance research.
Support daily execution of inventory control policies and performance expectations.
Lead regular efforts to verify inventory accuracy, including cycle counts and location audits.
Research inventory variances, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions with IC leadership.
Monitor inventory control metrics and ensure performance meets internal and customer expectations.
Use WMS data to identify risks and opportunities for process improvement.
