Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking an Inventory Analyst/Coordinator to assist the DC Manager in maintaining inventory accuracy and cycle counting. You will coordinate staff, analyze data, publish reports, and support process improvements across the distribution center.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and warehouse management systems. On-site work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to changing conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in automated distribution centers preferred.
• Experience with warehouse management systems applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff, processes and procedures to support the DC in maintaining and exceeding inventory accuracy goals.
• Analyze data and publish reports.
• Track performance by area, determine problems and root causes, communicate results and recommend action.
• Implement and administer changes to current inventory program.
• Coordinate cycle counting and statistical sampling processes.
• Maintain system data integrity.
• Ensure timely checks of date-sensitive products; manage SKU setup.
• Ensure cycle counts are scheduled and completed accurately.
• Perform system testing to ensure accurate adjustments and measurement.
• Administer slotting optimization software parameters and product moves.
• Research variances between perpetual inventory and the general ledger.
